Providing high-quality and efficient healthcare to the Czech Republic’s 10 million citizens is the responsibility of the national Ministry of Health (MoH), based in Prague. It works with the General Health Insurance Company (GHIC) ensure all patients have access to the care they need. In order to provide medical staff with secure access to online patient data at any time and from any location, MoH built a user-friendly portal called iZIP, which physicians access using PCs powered by Intel® vPro™ technology. The PCs are administered by managed services provider Autocont. The solution enables Autocont to guarantee recovery of a machine within four hours and has cut the time spent solving hardware and software issues by 34 percent.
